The trick, so far, is in the number of columns used before the software freezes (death). I began testing how many MP4s can be handled by Avenue in my system (Mac Pro Laptop 2019) using three layers. Today, I just clicked Avenue software to check and it went back to the freezing Menace Situation.Įquipment: Apple Pro MAC (2019) - OS: Monterey Version 12.4 - Memory 16GB/2.6 GHz 6 Core Intel Core i7 - Graphics: AMD Radeon Pro 5300M 4GB - AVENUE (newest update installed). Everything worked, some errors occurred during the performance (stress related, doubled copy a file). Then, I had to put together a brand new composition (3 layers/16 columns). The Composition is in the desktop! (erased all the folders in the MAC after uninstalling the last time to get a clean install). Installed and registered Avenue two more times because it went back to the same position, looking for the composition. I had to uninstalled the software in the convention, everybody running up & down (now what?), finally I downloaded it from your website (several times). The program can not be clicked anywhere, it remained thinking with the little multicolor Mac mouse wheel turning aimlessly. Well, here is when everything began to get problematic because the program came on but it froze. Everything was working perfectly (Mac, Projectors, cables, screens, props, etc.) and I clicked the "Avenue" icon. Two hours before showtime I tested the sound/video with the rented speakers. I saved my composition (3 layers with 16 columns - full videos - 3 projectors) Thursday night at the hotel room getting it ready for the show. I've never had any problems like this one, so it was a very educational experience. We had a new presentation at a convention last Friday night.
